About Us

A buddy of mine gave me a couple of suggestions and one of them was creating an About Us page therefore you can learn a little bit more about us.

Charlie Tritschler:  Charlie is a senior broadcast journalism major who has been blogging for the last five years beginning with Cat's Wide World of Sports and Chuck's Corner.  He had the idea of SnoTap in July of 2010. Charlie is in his fourth year of school at UW-Eau Claire.  His goal is to make the Sports News On Tap as big as humanly possible. Charlie loves the Brewers, Golden Eagles, Packers, Bucks, and Badger football.  Charlie might be one of the only Wisconsinites who owned a Herman Moore jersey.

Mitch Pratt: Mitch is a junior journalism student at UW-Milwaukee who does a variety of things on the interwebs. He had the Daily Dose, and still runs a Tumblr feed.  He talks about primarily sports and a dash of music. Mitch joined the Tap at its birth. He is always willing to go against the grain as he likes the Oregon Ducks football team, Syracuse basketball team and the Oakland Raiders. He loves the Bucks, but his number one love is the Brewers. Mitch's goal in life is to collect 29 New Era baseball hats (all but the Cubs), reports say he is halfway there.

Easy E: Eric is finishing up his senior year at UW-Eau Claire and soon headed to the real world. One of the brains to the operations of SnoTap suggesting great ideas that we could run with.  Eric always tends to be on the snarky side so we advise you stay off his bad side.  Eric enjoys the Packers, Brewers, Michigan State Spartan basketball, and Bucks.  He wrote a letter to Jerry Rice, his childhood hero and Rice wrote him back with an autograph.

Pat Luce: The only college graduate amongst the SnoTap writers as he got done at Saint Norbert's College. Pat helps out with a lot of the editing the various blog posts, and when he decides to write, it is worth a read. One of the original writers on the Tap.  Pat is not afraid to take a stance on topics with his classic GTFO or Come At U.S. Pat likes the Packers, Blackhawks, Brewers, Bucks, and US Soccer. He is the only writer here who has been to a Super Bowl and held the Lombardi Trophy. The perks of living in Green Bay.

Michael Fant: Mike is our Illinois representative.  He goes to school at UW-Stout and is one of the original five writers. Living in Wisconsin, Mike deals with a lot of trash talking from others because he is a fan of the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, Northern Illinois Huskies, and Blackhawks.  He gives SnoTap an Illinois opinion. Mike would be in a state in euphoria for the rest of his life if the Cubs won the World Series.

Rocky: Also known as Brett will always stir the pot. He isn't afraid to give and defend his opinion on topics like advanced stats and Kevin Durant. He joined the Tap after a Free Write and a desire to be a part of the team. More so than teams, he has favorite players. They are LeBron James, Peyton Manning, Alex Rodriguez, and Aaron Rodgers. Brett does love the Chicago Cubs and the Wisconsin Badgers in terms of teams. Brett rushed the field when the Badgers knocked off Ohio State in October.

Big Cat: Also known as Seth. He joined the Tap after debating for a long time whether to start a site of him ranting about anything  He is the only writer to get a blog delete from Blogger for swearing too much in one post after the Packers lost to the Redskins. Seth enjoys the Packers, Duke Basketball, USC Football, and Brewers.  Big Cat is aspiring to grow a mullet or look like Aaron Rodgers circa 2008.

Jordan T. Nelson: He is originally from Chicago, but resided in Minnesota for most of his life.  Jordan is a Vikings season ticket holder, Minnesota Golden Gophers fan, Twins fan, Chicago Bulls/Minnesota Timberwolves, and North Carolina basketball.
