DOY: Taj Gibson!

I really think I need to go to the gym when I watch sports because something cool happens all the time. This happened in the gym, and the Big Cat working out next to me, I went absolutely bananas.  Big Cat looked at me like I was a Leper.  Seriously, just an awesome dunk. I love Dwyane Wade's attitude about the whole thing saying "I have done that 90 times to people, and it happened to me once."  "I will take the 90 to 1 ratio."

DOY: Kobe Bryant

I missed this dunk watching hockey last night. The Black Mamba just destroyed Emeka Okafor, I mean destroyed him. Kobe hasn't done this to a player in a long time.  Also the secret to last night's victory was Kobe not shooting as much, but shhh don't tell anybody.

DOY: Darrell Arthur

A lot of things to like about this video:  1.) The great block by Darrell Arthur  2.) The hustle by Arthur allowing him to bang on Tiago Splitter  3.) Whoomp There It Is still being played in an NBA arena.  I am not ready to say this is the end of the San Antonio Spurs, but we are getting pretty damn close.

DOY: Nene Times Three!

Casualties for Nene's dunks last night: Nick Collison, Serge Ibaka, and Kendrick Perkins. It's too bad the Nuggets couldn't get the win last night, but Nene definitely put on a DOY show.  The man is a beast.

DOY: Tyreke Evans

Tyreke Evans is back playing basketball, and made a poster out of Gary Neal last night. This isn't the first time Neal has been on the receiving end of a DOY, you might remember JR Smith's massive throw-down on Neal earlier this year. Glad to have DOY back, we missed you.

DOY: Rodney Stuckey

I hope there can be about 100 posters of the 'Handsome Brontosaurus' Chris Bosh getting dunked on like he did last night in Detroit. This probably will be the highlight of the Pistons' worthless seasons. My dream for playoffs is Derrick Rose right over Bosh. I will buy a poster asap.

Closing Time: Best Offensive Foul Ever

How is this an offensive foul? I dislike Steve Javie more than any other ref in the NBA. Like I know the old guys suck, but Javie always makes it a point to give at least one unnecessary technical in each game.  Blake keep doing your thing. Tomorrow, more college basketball and a special Tuesday Jersey Shore Power Rankings. I missed last week because of the tournament so catching up for you guys.  Also don't expect a lot of First Taste, no one is waking up before 10 am on Spring Break.

DOY: Kerry Kittles Retro Style

Check out a  young Kerry Kittles back in his days at Nova.  The entire video is great but he shows off his dunkface at the 20 second mark.

Get This Man Into The Dunk Contest!

Seriously amazing. He needs to be in the dunk contest simple as that. Like Peyton Hills was for white running backs, Jacob Tucker is for white dunkers. As Pat pointed out as I showed him the video, he is from the Midwest Conference that leads me to MY GOD THATS THE MWC'S MUSIC!!!!!!

DOY: Kobe Bryant

Slow day on the Tap.  I am assuming everyone is busy with shoveling and school work. If you missed last night's All Star Game, it ended up being pretty special.  LeBron James had the second triple-double in All Star Game history, and almost willed his team back to victory. Kobe Bryant dropped 38 and 14 taking home the MVP honors. Also Bryant had a nice dunk over Mr. James, enjoy.

DOY: Scottie Hopson

I saw this on ESPN's Twitter account this morning and my goodness. Scottie Hopson of Tennessee just has hops for days.  Just used the Gamecocks player as a step ladder.  Kudos for the flat top sir.

DOY: Harrison Barnes

Harrison Barnes is coming on strong during ACC play, after struggling in the first couple months of the season. He is a system guy playing in an open set, which hurts him a bit. This is a great dunk in a win against Clemson on Saturday.

DOY: Josh Smith on Eduardo Najera

I honestly didn't really think Eduardo Najera was still in the league until I saw this. J-Smoove, even though I hate the guy, can jump over a man and he shows it here. Getcha popcorn ready!

DOY: Kyle Kuric

This gentleman and smokeshows is what I refer to as 'White on White crime'.  Kyle Kuric just throws it down nasty against one of the goofy dudes from Notre Dame.  He also got a techinical for taunting, which sucked because he really didn't do much.  He didn't make number 1 today on top plays, a complete crime.

DOY: Blake Griffin... Who Else?!

This is absolutely filthy by the Blake Show.  Today, the All-Star reserves are revealed today so it will be interesting to see if they put Griffin on the team.  I personally think he deserves it not just because of his good season, but he is the most exciting player in the NBA. The All Star Game would be a whole other level if he is apart of it.

DOY: Ronnie Brewer

It's funny we were watching this game as well as the Bucks-Nets game and somehow we missed this dunk from Ronnie Brewer. He destroys Josh McRoberts, I also love the color guy's response to all of it. If you didn't hear, the Indiana Pacers fired their coach as their record is shit since Reggie Miller left.

Classic DOY: Kobe Bryant

Simmons posted this in his column today and it's good enough to share with the rest of you. The top comment is Kobe Bryant baptized Dwight Howard.  Great comment, I agree.  This would be definitely in my top five favorite Kobe dunks of all time. Also Dwight Howard was a BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAANPPPPOOOOLE, sorry for the inside joke.

DOY: Double Play (Sam Young and Rodney Williams)

This is Pittsburgh's own Sam Young over Mr. Kardashian himself Kris Humphries.  I enjoy dunkface alley-oops because it takes a special dunker to do it.  Young did this a lot in his seven years at Pittsburgh, and sometimes against Marquette. I am glad he is in the NBA and not the Big East.

Humphries' alma mater also had a sweet dunk from Rodney Williams against Northwestern. This game was called by Gus Johnson who didn't have as good of a reaction as I expected so I went with the better quality video without the Gus call.  Stay tuned for JSPR and Jimmer madness.

DOY: Serge Ibaka

Mr. Ibaka makes his second appearance on the blog with this throwdown on Emeka Okafor. I hear his nickname is Dr. Nasty? If that's true then it's awesome and will call him that from now on. The only sad thing about Dr. Nasty is David West dotted him for a game-winner as the Hornets won their 9th straight.
