Spanish Castellers.

In the city of Tarragona, Spain, castellers gather every 2 years to see who can build the highest, most intricate human castles. This uniquely Catalan tradition requires astonishing strength, balance, and serious balls.

HETERCHROMIA.

Heterochromia refers to a difference in coloration of the iris... it's the result of excess or lack of melanin (a pigment) which may be inherited (genetic) or due to disease/injury... the eye may be hyperpigmented or hypopigmented. There are 2 kinds of heterochromia: complete-one iris is a different color from the other, and partial/sectoral- part of one iris is a different color from the rest. Rad.

Paul Villinski wanted to move his art studio from NY to the Lower Ninth Ward so that he could create work in response to the conditions he found there... he created Emergency Response Studio . Villinski transformed a salvaged trailer into an off-the-grid work space that could house displaced working artists in post-disaster settings.
If only this model could be used for all the (non-artist) homeless people still struggling in New Orleans...
