HETERCHROMIA.










Heterochromia refers to a difference in coloration of the iris... it's the result of excess or lack of melanin (a pigment) which may be inherited (genetic) or due to disease/injury... the eye may be hyperpigmented or hypopigmented. There are 2 kinds of heterochromia: complete-one iris is a different color from the other, and partial/sectoral- part of one iris is a different color from the rest. Rad.
