NBA Bracket Challenge

Quite frankly, I don't pay much attention to the NBA because: A) it's a game where it's own officials don't call the most obvious infractions, B) those same officials favor certain players night-in and night-out, C) I think David Stern is the ultimate weasel, D) players don't try until it's the 4th quarter, and E) the guy whose parents had freakish genetics already gains a competitive advantage and is hardly an athlete.  That's not a security blanket for my picks, ultimately just my opinions on the NBA. So be it.

NBA Playoff Bracket Challenge

By now, I'm sure most of our readers know that Brett is an arrogant asshole who thinks he knows a lot more about sports, specifically the NBA, than he really does.  So, I say we put all that knowledge to the test.  I propose a NCAA tournament like bracket challenge where each writer will predict each playoff series (including how many games it goes) all the way from round 1 through the finals. Here's how its going to work.

Scoring

Round 1 - 5 points for each correct pick plus 1 bonus point if you picked the winner and the number of games correctly

Round 2 - 10 points for each correct pick plus 2 bonus points for correctly picking the winner and number of games

Conference Finals - 20 points for correctly picking the conference champion and 5 bonus points for correctly picking the winner and and the number of games

Finals - 50 points if you correctly pick the winner plus 10 bonus points if you pick the winner and the number of games

The playoffs start on Saturday so each writer will have to post their bracket before then.  We will post them all on here for everyone to look at (and critique if you so choose).

Good luck gentleman, let the games begin.
