The search operation for the missing Pawan Hans chopper carrying Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Dorjee Khandu and four others has narrowed down to three locations at the Indo-Bhutan border.
The chief minister's office sources informed that based on the inputs received through satellite mapping carried out by ISRO and aerial mapping conducted by two Sukhois from Bareilly yesterday, the ground and aerial search have been intensified in Eaglenest Bird Sanctuary and Nagajan area in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh bordering Tawang besides Mobi village in Tashi Yangshi district of Bhutan.
Defence spokesman based at 4 Corps in Tezpur Colonel Joshi said that 35 columns of army including six ITBP and three SSB have been pressed into the search and rescue operations which started at around 6.15 am today.
