The part of the film fraternity who are most demanding and full of attitudes are none other then our Bollywood babes and yes not to forget the heavy and thick payment which they charge from the harassed producers and directors.

Actress Kareena Kapoor is taking on her role as a brand ambassador for a ‘size zero’ net book rather seriously. When a scene in an upcoming movie, required Kareena to work on a laptop, she insisted that she would only use a laptop from the brand that she endorses. When anetbook of another make was given to Bebo, she apparently refused to shoot until the unit guys got her the one she wanted.

Sherawat was also allegedly shown the door from a dance based reality show recently as they just couldn’t handle her attitude! A source from the production house said, “This was supposed to be her very first stint with reality TV but she was replaced just after the show took off. She was difficult to deal with and would throw a lot of tantrums. She had a lot of demands and when neither of them could be fulfilled, she would lock herself up in her vanity van, refusing to come out until the problem was sorted.”

Another actress who is under the scanner for her alleged high-handed behaviour is Kangna Ranaut.The actor reportedly behaved very strangely while on the sets of a reality show, where she took a nap backstage. Additionally while shooting for a film recently, she apparently refused to wear a bikini on the day of the shoot, even though she had given her nod earlier. She flew off the handle and refused to sport one, which in turn resulted in a couple of hours delay. The list is endless,even their mail counter parts are no exception to tantrums, after all attitude pays.

Earlier, films would be entirely the director’s vision, but actors are increasingly known to give their inputs in this department too. Bollywood stars are infamous for throwing their weight around and getting their way, be it at an event or while at a shoot. One actor who is constantly reported to throw such tantrums is the sexy actress Mallika Sherawat. The actor, who has now shifted base to Los Angeles, has earned a reputation for being the tantrum queen. The actress, who is known for her high-handedness also reportedly insists that each shot be canned until she thinks it’s perfect.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor seems to be feeling lonely like never before after the break up with Priyanka Chopra. It is said that he is trying to forget the bitter past and move on by hanging out with his close friend. And the friend happens to be Genelia D’Souza, who was linked to him in the past.

Yes, news is doing the rounds that Shahid has found solace in Genelia’s company after reportedly parting ways with Priyanka. It is said that he is spending a lot of time with her of late, trying to come to terms with the break up.

In the background of Bollywood grapevine over “heart burn” between him and fellow buddy Salman Khan over launching Narmada in the tinsel town, actor Govinda said that it was he who made Sonakshi Sinha a ‘heroine’.Speculations are rife in Bollywood that Govinda was not very happy with Salman as the latter did not keep his promise of launching his daughter Narmada in Bollywood. Salman got busy making career of Sonakshi, daughter of veteran actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha. “I made Sonakshi a heroine. I used to always praise her. I often told her that she must lose weight. Both Sonakshi and Narmada are good. It is always the time that decides everything,” Govinda told PTI in an interview.Narmada created quite a stir when she accompanied Salman during IIFA awards in 2007. Ever since, there has been speculation that she would enter Bollywood. The latest buzz is that she might make a debut this year. “Even I had to struggle to make career in Bollywood and we have even seen the biggest stars struggling…waiting for good time. What’s wrong if Narmada is waiting? Her time will also start,” Chi-chi, as he is fondly called, said.When asked whether there are any issues between him and Salman, Govinda said, “There are no issues between us…nothing at all. If there wasn’t any problem with him (Salman) then how can I solve it? Even for having an issue we need to have a reason for it. In the first place why should I have any issue with him. He helped me then how can I have an issue with him.”

The fast bowler, however, reveals that his family is searching for a bride for him to get married. “I’ve had enough of gossip about me — be it in Bollywood or Kollywood. My family is of the opinion that I should get married now and they are looking for a match for me,” says Sree (as he’s known among his friends).

Sreesanth admits he has agreed to an arranged marriage after much thought.

“You know how conservative South Indian families are. They don’t want me to wait too long and stay single. My parents keep pressurising me about marriage, so I thought that it’s best to just give in than fight it,” he says.

But isn’t it very unromantic for a flamboyant character like him get married to somebody he doesn’t know?

“Who says that I can’t be romantic with the girl?But right now, I want to concentrate on my game. Now that we have won the World Cup, the onus is on us to keep up the standard. So I don’t really think hard about how parents are going about my marriage right now,” he ends.

Imran Khan Plugs India Cyclothon

Imran Khan looked lean and sporty at a presser to plug BSA Hercules India Cyclothon event in support of animal welfare at Hotel Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai on Thursday, April 21.

Imran, 28, wore brown slim jeans, Grey sweat shirt, and brown shoes matching his jeans, giving an illusion of longer legs.

Imran launched the Cyclothon Tee during the event and posed for photogs riding a bicycle on stage.

After wrapping a schedule for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with co-star Katrina Kaif in Agra on April 15 and returning back to Mumbai, Imran started toning up to be in shape for India's largest cycling event.

The annual Cyclothon is Scheduled for Sunday, April 24. The event will take place at Bandra Kurla Complex. The cycling route of approximately 60 km will be cordoned off from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The organizers are expecting over 6,000 participants. Some of Mumbai's most prominent personalities will be participating in the cyclothon, includinge Leander Paes, Milind Deora, Viren Rasquinha, Karun Chandok and Nicole Faria. Also making a comeback, will be the Mumbai Dabbawala's association with a strength of over 350.

The event will have four participation categories - Amateur Ride (20 km), LG Green Ride(10 km), Corporate Ride (20 km) and Junior Ride (6 km). In addition, professional cyclists can participate in the by-invitation-only Elite National Race (60 km).

The winner will get a prize money of Rs 5 lacs.

Salman Khan is one of the most popular cyclist in Mumbai. He often rides his cycle to studios for filming.

Sonakshi Sinha Dazzles at Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011

Sonakshi Sinha had the audience drooling with her scintillating dance performance during the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011 show on April 16.

The 23-year-old Joker star flaunted her curves in a sparkling midriff baring black dress teamed with black pumps and oversized hoop earrings.

Her opening act was dancing to yesteryear's song Chura Liya, followed by Darling and Kajra Re.

Sonakshi's svelte figure and impressive dancing skills at the show are sure to heighten fan expectations about her item song in Joker - "dance karle english mein aur nach le tu hindi mein!"

Other Bollywood performers of the evening included Anushka Sharma, Malaika Arora Khan and Sonu Sood.

Music band SQS and Hard Kaur regaled audiences with their captivating music.

TV actors Gaurav Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Harshad Chopra and Gaurav Chopra were the additional entertainers of the evening. Comedians Krushna, Ali Asgar and Kapil Sharma had the audience in splits.

Aamir Khan Roots For Zokkomon

Aamir Khan chipped in to promote good friend Satyajit Bhatkal directed Zokkomon headlining his discovery Darsheel Safary and Manjari Phadnis at a presser at his Bandra home front yard, Mumbai on Wednesday, April 20.

Darsheel, who plays India's first child superhero in Disney's action adventure Zokkomon, and Satyajit Bhatkal, who is debuting in Bollywood with this film, along with main lead Manjari Fadnis (last seen in Aamir's Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na) visited Aamir to specially invite him for a preview of the film.

Aamir protective instincts for his Taare Zameen Par co-star and protege Darsheel were evident at the event.

Manjari looked stunning in a blue empire waist mini dress and curly locks.

Aamir was effusive in praising his friends in the Zokkomon team, and spoke at length on his excitement for the film:

"I am very excited to watch this action adventure by Disney who is know for quality films....specially since it has Darsheel in a brand new superhero avatar, and he will always be my superhero in real life too! Satyajit has been a close childhood friend and i have known him since years...I was proud to have produced his National Award winning documentary film and i wish him all the best for his debut!...this is a very different kind of film and will a special treat for kids in summer vacation and family audiences as well!"

Aamir compared Manjari to Juhi Chawla when asked of his thoughts on her! Aamir had recommended her to Bhatkal after she impressed him with her work in Aamir's production Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.

An obsessed fan of hers is following her around, it all started with unknown letters being delivered at her doorstep, which were junked as fan mail, but then came the first expensive gift — a diamond-studded necklace (that probably went to charity). Soon, many more expensive gifts and cards began to land up at her Khar residence in a similar manner.

The letters that came along in the last six months clearly point to the fact that the person is following Kapoor around. And the actress’s close friends insist that there is a striking pattern to this.
“It is evident from the letters that this fan is keeping a careful tab on her… what she is doing, where she is going for appearances, where she is shooting for her films and so on. Though Kareena is not too scared about this obsessive person, her whole family is,” .

According to Kapoor, receiving fan mails from all over the world is nothing new, but somebody keeping a tab on her movements is something that has not happened to her before.

“The letters that she has received also speaks about some kind of obsession with her. The gifts that have arrived at her doorstep are so expensive that normal fans wouldn’t even think of gifting such items,” the source adds. However, when somebody suggested that she at least inform the police, Bebo apparently declined saying that she wouldn’t go to the law unless things get out of hand.

When DNA got in touch with Kapoor, she admitted that she has lately been receiving a lot of ‘admiration’ from her fans, but said that she is okay with it as long as it stays within the parameters of adulation. “Yes, recently I have seen quite a number of fans. It’s always a good feeling to find that you have such ardent fans. I am humbled and very flattered,” she says.

But what about the fact that some of her fans were showing signs of obsessive fixation with her and stalking her at events and public appearances? “I think it’s love and admiration and, as long as it is within limits, I am okay with this kind of obsession,” Kapoor adds.

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Abhishek taking a romantic break

Buzz is that the two are planning to take off on a romantic week-long holiday soon after Ash returns from Cannes next month and before Abhishek launches into his next project.Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will be celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary today. And while work commitments will be keeping Bachchan Jr busy in Hyderabad for the early part of the day, He will be flying home tonight to celebrate the evening with wife Ash.

Incidentally, Abhishek may not be able to attend the international film festival with Ash this time around. “Abhishek will be shooting in Russia for Players. And the 15-day long schedule will make it impossible for him to be by Aishwarya’s side at the red carpet event.They are running on a very tight schedule as it is. But, let’s see, they are still trying to work out the dates,” said a source.

Surprisingly, Aishwarya on her part too has not been accompanying Abhi on any of his promotional activities. But an insider insists that it is not like she is upset about not getting any time with hubby. “It’s just that she feels that her presence will prove to be a distraction. As for spending most of the day today away from Aishwarya, Abhi says, “Both Aishwarya and I understand the nature of our work. Ajay Devgn Hunky and Hot Singham Cop

Ajay Devgn wows with rippling muscles and a beefed up body in a still from Reliance Entertainment's under production action thriller 'Singham,' a remake of Tamil film of the same name.

The 42-year-old star is seen stripped to his vest in police uniform, sporting a thick mustache and aviators. His gorgeous honey golden hair add just the right touch of glamor to his beefy look.

Elaborating on Ajay's looks, helmer Rohit Shetty says:

"We've tried to achieve for Ajay the physique of a man who could bash up 20 people, if he so wished. It's not a six-pack look. Anyone can achieve that with injections and steroids. The manliness has to come through as he plays a tough cop who is from a village on the Maharastra-Goa border. It is a raw action film filled with hand to hand combat scenes, something one rarely gets to see in movies in this day and age of high gadgetry. Ajay's trainer Prashant Sawant is putting him through the paces."

Trainer Prashant explains how he managed to get the right look for his celeb client.

"We trained for three months. Ajay plays a very tough cop. He needed to look the part by losing weight, developing more cuts on his body and appear more lean and muscular. After training for an hour and half, I oversaw his diet and made sure he maintained a high-protein low-carb diet every three hours. I then had him do a rigorous combination of weights and circuit super sets that incorporated all techniques including pushups and pull-ups."

When quizzed about the time it took for Ajay to build his physique, "It didn't take him much time. Ajay has a great body and he has always been a fitness freak. It's not difficult for him to maintain it", quipped the trainer.

South actress Kajal Aggarwal plays Ajay's love interest in the film.

Singham is due in theaters on July 22.

Vikram Bhatt's Haunted 3D to be Dubbed in Spanish

Vikram Bhatt's horror flick Haunted, India's first stereoscopic 3D film, is now also the first ever Indian film to be dubbed in Spanish.

Haunted, headlining Mithun Chakraborty's son Mahakshay Chakraborty and Tia Bajpai, reaches out to diverse audiences with its multilingual versions in - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English. After an intense market research Bhatt decided to dub the film in Spanish.

According to Vikram there is a huge market for horror films in the Spanish/Latin American belt and they want to tap that market. Iinitially, the filmmaker planned to include Spanish subtitles, but later discovered it was really tough to use subtitles in a 3D film. So the movie was dubbed in Spanish.

To get the Spanish version started, Bhatt will be flying to Toronto next month to choose the dubbing artistes. He added, "I want the voices in Spanish to match with the original voices of my actors".

The dubbed Spanish version will release two months after the Hindi release which is due in theaters on May 6.

In 2010 there were reports that Kites, headlining Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori, would be dubbed in Spanish for release in Mexico, since Mori hails from the couintry, but it never happened

Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra in Deol Packed Masters

Preity Zinta, last seen in a leading role in Heroes (2008), is expected to feature next in Masters, headlining Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.

In a recent interview, Preity had mentioned that she will soon start work on two Bollywood films.

According to the Mumbai Mirror, Zinta and Priyanka Chopra are expected to play headlining roles in the big budget 3D action thriller to be directed by Anil Sharma with a team of top notch Hollywood action directors.

As if the three Deols weren't enough of a wallop to pack in a single film, Sharma is also considering Abhay Deol for a lead role.

If Sharma succeeds in roping in Sunny and Bobby's cousin, it will be a first as Abhay didn't feature in Apne (2007) or Yamala Pagla Deewana (2010), the earlier films that cast Dharmendra with his two sons - Sunny and Bobby.

Masters was first announced in early 2008, following the box office success of Apne, but the project didn't take off and the Deol trio went on to make Yamla Pagla Deewana.

Masters will be reportedly shot on location in Las Vegas.

Unmarried Celebrity Couple

The trend is now gravitating towards off-screen celebrity couples endorsing a brand together. The trend first started making sporadic appearances when actors Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani, who were dating each other then, teamed up for a suiting and shirting advertisement, way back in the early 90’s. They were shortly followed by supermodels, Madhu Sapre and Milind Soman who posed for a shoe brand together. The Mumbai policeregistered a case in August 1995 against the couple for posing in the nude, wearing only the shoes and a python wrapped around them.

Since then, the ad world mostly only capitalised on the glamour of married celebrity couples until recently, where the trend seems to be veering once more towards unmarried couples. While the product’s brand value considerably increases this way, it becomes an issue when either parties involved break-up or God forbid, get married. Brand strategist, Harish Bijoor explains, “Typically, when celebrity couples aren’t married, the level of mystery and chemistry is pretty high. The younger generation today does not subscribe to norms. They are more likely to relate to an unmarried couple than a married one.ActorsAishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan are definitely less popular than actors Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as the latter are not married. But the day they announce and get married, their brand value will diminish too.”

So is the brand’s market value at stake when the celeb couples in question decide to split or break-up? “It becomes a bit of a road block when couples endorsing a product together split up, but it invariably gets back to normal,” adds Bijoor.

Ad-man Kunal Shivdasani too is of the same opinion. “Marriage as a concept does not go down too well with the youth, it appeals more to the older generation. And it’s the youth, who’s the target audience for most ads today. And for them, life is all about living on the edge. Freedom means the world to them,” sumsup Shivdasani.

Aashish Chaudhary's Double Sized Boobs in Double Dhamaal

Aashish Chaudhary will be seen as a buxom seductress who would make Mallika Sherawat feel flat chested in Indra Kumar's comic caper Double Dhamaal.

The film being produced by Reliance Entertainment and Maruti International production is a sequel to the successful 2007 film 'Dhamaal.'

Aashish, who also featured in the original, was asked to tone down his beefy body for his role in the sequel.

He plays multiple characters in the film, with different looks and costumes. One such character is of a sassy woman trying to seduce the uber cool Sanjay Dutt.

Now obviously, it would have been difficult to pull off such a seduction with the kind of macho built that Ashish has, so director Kumar suggested that Ashish tone down his body to look every bit of the sexy chic that he was supposed to play.

Double Dhamaal additionally stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Mallika Sherawat, Kangna Ranaut & Satish Kaushik.

He is seen wearing an ivory sleeveless top with a deep scoop neckline revealing a cleavage which has a comic look to it with a padding peeping out of the neckline. His look is replete with a swanky hair wig and bling.

The film is scheduled for a June 10 release.

Saif Ali Khan Casts Sister Soha's Beau in His Next Production

Saif Ali Khan will cast Kunal Khemu in his next production to be helmed by director duo Krishna DK and Rajesh Nidimoru.

Kunal, 27, and Saif's sister Soha Ali Khan, 32, have been dating since 2009,

Kunal also features in Saif's under production Agent Vinod.

Saif wants to resurrect Kunal's acting career before Soha ties the knot with him.

In the yet to be titled comedy thriller, Kunal will be one of the two male lead actors.

He earlier worked with the director duo in '99' (2009) with Soha as his co-star and that's when their romance sparked.

Directors DK and Rajesh, who are currently awaiting the release of their movie 'Shor in the City,' have confirmed the news.

"Yes, Kunal is doing our film. There are two leads in the film and Kunal is one of them. The rest is yet to be finalized. It is a very out of the box comedy thriller and something very different from '99' or 'Shor in the City'. It's like a brand new high for us!"

There is a likelihood of Saif doing a cameo in the film; it's not known yet if Soha will be paired with Kunal.

Kunal's last release was Golmaal 3 (2010) in which Kareena Kapoor was the female lead.

Mallika Sherawat looked enticing but majestic in a black lace Stella McCartney gown at 2011 Romy Awards, Vienna, Austria on Saturday, April 16.

Mallika's floor length gown had a lace top with a plunging neckline that reached down to her waist.

She accessorized with Kornmesser jewles - an exquisite diamond necklace, matching earrings and a chunky ring on her left hand.

Mallika took a break from filming of Double Dhamaal to attend the Awards show. She reached Vienna on April 14.

"brrrrrrrrrrrr its coooooold in Vienna!! 5 degrees?!?! Tryin to get ready for photo shoot, freezin my buns off!" she tweeted on April 15.

She later visited the famous Albertina Museum where she encountered a bunch of local fans.

"my hands are so cold my fingers can barely sign an autograph;)" she tweeted from the museum.

Mallika's next international red carpet stop will be Cannes Film Festival next month where Aishwarya Rai will walk the red carpet for the 10th consecutive year.

She will be next seen in Hollywood romantic comedy Politics Of Love with co-star Brian White. Codeblack Entertainment has purchased domestic distribution rights and plans to release the film in July.
